ICR Series heaters produce short infrared wavelength which can convert greater than 85% of consumed energy into instant, controllable, directional heat. Radiant efficiency is maximized because heat generated by Solaira heaters warms people and objects, with limited warming of the air and is virtually unaffected by air current or breezes. ICR Series heaters are designed for either wall mount or direct ceiling mount with included brackets providing flexibility in design while maximizing heater coverage. Please Note: The ICR Series Heaters are dual voltage units meaning they can be used with either a 240V or a 208V power supply. Please note that when using with a 208V power supply the amperage will change and the wattage will be derated. What size stove do I need?
As a rough guide, a home in a cold climate needs about 30–40 BTU per square foot. Compare that with the heating area and BTU rating published by the manufacturer, and allow for insulation and ceiling height.
Who installs the stove?
We sell and ship the equipment. Installation should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and local building codes; we recommend a certified installer, and some areas require a permit.
Do I need a chimney?
Wood stoves need a properly sized chimney or class A flue. Most pellet stoves vent through a wall with pellet pipe. Electric fireplaces need no venting.
How are stoves delivered?
Large stoves ship by freight truck, curbside. The carrier contacts you to schedule delivery. Orders leave within 1–3 business days after payment and arrive in 6–10 business days.
What is your return policy?
You can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is free; a 10% restocking fee applies unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
