ComfortBilt 40" Corner Hearth Pad - Iron Fog Type 2

Description

40" Corner Iron Fog-T2 (Shade/Hue may vary) Comfortbilt hearth pads are crafted from quality ceramics — expertly finished for maximum durability. Choose from a range of styles and enjoy the security of knowing your hearth pad meets all government safety standards. All traditional hearth pads are manufactured as Type 2 (Ember Protection and Thermal Protection) and are not available as a Type 1 (Ember Protection only). Not all pellet stoves and wood stoves are created equal — and neither are their floor protection requirements. Older stoves, high-efficiency models, and units without heat shields often demand more than the basics; they need a hearth pad that can also stand up to serious thermal transfer. That's exactly where the Type 2 hearth pad earns its place. Finished in a sophisticated Iron Fog tone that complements virtually any hearth aesthetic, American Panel's Type 2 hearth pad is as handsome as it is hardworking. Fully non-combustible and engineered with an R-value of 2.24 or 1.592, it forms a reliable thermal barrier between your stove and the subfloor beneath — delivering protection that far exceeds the Type 2 minimum requirement of R-value 1.0. When your installation calls for a pad that goes above and beyond, this is the one built for the job. • 1" frame • 30% lighter than other hearth pads • Single ½" non-combustible substrate with significantly higher R-value than other substrates
